This clamp is used to apply a current direction (CD) or low frequency signal from a transmitter (Tx-5 / Tx-10) to a cable or pipe.
The CD signal is useful for identifying individual utilities in congested areas.
This is the only transmitter clamp which can be used with frequencies below 1kHz.
