The Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Leica Geosystems qualified service technician to assist in the day-to-day running of our busy workshop. The successful candidate will have a hands-on practical approach and will be responsible for the service, repair, and calibration of Leica survey instrumentation. Further manufacturer training will be provided if required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and calibration of Leica surveying equipment, including Robotic Total Stations, Laser Scanners, GPS/GNSS, Level and Pipe Lasers
  • Perform tasks efficiently and with minimal supervision
  • Ad hoc duties as needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and configuration of TPS, GPS, and 3D Laser Scanning equipment
  • Provide technical support and training for customers over the phone, via e-mail, and face to face

  • Research and trial new product lines to bring to the business

This role involves managing bookings, coordinating equipment availability, and ensuring a smooth hire process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Handle enquiries and bookings for equipment hire, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. Coordinate the scheduling, dispatch, and return of hire equipment, ensuring availability and readiness for clients. Maintain accurate records of all hire transactions, including contracts, invoicing, and payments. Work closely with the sales and repair teams to manage equipment inventory and ensure all items are in optimal condition for hire. Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the hire period, offering solutions to meet client needs. Characteristics/Skills
