The Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a trainee service technician to assist in the day-to-day running of our busy workshop. The successful candidate will have a hands-on practical approach and will be responsible for the service, repair, and calibration of Leica survey instrumentation. Full manufacturer training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the upkeep of the workshop
Assist workshop technicians as required
Cleaning of equipment and minor equipment repairs
Servicing and repairing Leica survey equipment including Total Stations, Levels, Rotating Lasers, Pipe Lasers (upon completion of relevant training)

Characteristics/Skills

Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate – competent in MS Office 365
Ability to work on own initiative
Problem solving and analysis

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to expand the G2 Survey business. The successful candidate can expect to be appreciated and benefit from ongoing training to support their professional development, and work in a successful, dynamic, diverse, fun and driven team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with demonstrations, quotations, and the creation of solutions for sales and hire of Geospatial Equipment
Assist with quotations and account management for new and existing customers
Proactivity seek new business opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound communication
Research and trial new product lines to bring to the business
Attend trade shows and meetings with customers/suppliers when required
Record all activity in CRM and ensure continuous pipeline management from lead to delivery
General duties to improve and take forward G2 Survey as a company

To be suitable for the role you must have:

Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative
Problem solving and analysis
Able to drive with a full driving licence
Proven negotiation and selling skills to B2B and B2C customers
Numerate and able to recognise commercial and customer trends
Excellent communication, numerical, interpersonal and analytical skills
Computer literate

Nice to haves:

Worked within Survey industry in a technical or sales role
Have a deep understanding of Leica Geosystems surveying equipment
Experience using CRM and MS Office
