Product Description
The Leica DISTO X6 is especially suitable for rough construction sites. With an IP65 rating, the extremely robust housing protects against dust and water jets and is drop tested from a height of 2m, underlining the reliability and durability of this laser measure. With its Pointfinder and large, crystal-clear display, it is perfect for outdoor use. Simple and ergonomic operation is also guaranteed due to the touch screen and the additional measuring button on the side. In addition, a variety of measurement functions, such as Smart Horizontal Mode, height tracking, profile or angle measurements, ensure that any measurement situation can be completed quickly and efficiently. The results can be downloaded as a report and integrated directly, e.g. in quotations, ensuring an error-free, digital workflow.
Interior and Exterior Use
Indoors or generally in favourable lighting conditions, the red laser dot is very clearly visible so that the object can be easily targeted. In bright outdoor areas, however, or even in bright sunlight, the laser dot is no longer visible. The laser measure can still measure without any problems. To aim, however, you now need the Pointfinder – a camera that shows you the target exactly in the crosshairs on the crystal-clear display with IPS technology.
Ideal for Tough Construction Sites
The precision measurement module of the DISTO X6 is protected by solid rubber and special fibreglass-reinforced plastic bracing. Therefore it is particularly resistant and withstands drop tests of up to 2m. Furthermore, the housing and keypad are water jet protected and dust-tight to an IP65 protection rating, so that the laser measure can be easily cleaned by holding it under running water. These features make the Leica DISTO X6 the ideal measuring instrument for tough, rugged conditions.
Clear Reports Simplify Documentation
All measurements and results can be summarised in report files on the Leica DISTO X6 directly on the construction site and downloaded later in the office via USB interface. This way, the measurement results can be quickly and easily integrated into quotations, invoices, etc. The extra-large memory allows the creation of up to 300 report files on the DISTO X6.
Precision without Compromise
The contactless triggering of measurements ensures precision without compromise and solves a well-known problem, namely that the device may move slightly when the measurement button is pressed, therefore no longer hitting the centre of the measured target. For contactless measurement, simply move your hand briefly through the laser beam to trigger the measurement.
Precisely Determine Horizontal Distances
In the "Smart Horizontal Mode" the DISTO simultaneously measures the distance to the object and the tilt of the laser measure with only one click and then automatically calculates the precise horizontal distance. This function is very useful for precise horizontal measurements, especially over long distances, as the DISTO does not need to be aligned horizontally. If construction material, walls, hedges or people are between the laser measure and the target, this function can be used as well. Simply measure over the obstacle and the exact horizontal distance appears on the display.
Inexpensive Height Profile Measurement
With the DISTO it is very easy to create a height profile in a landscape or to calculate height differences in a building. The device is setup along the profile line you determine, and a reference point is measured to which the height differences should compare. The individual points are then measured. For each measured point, both the height difference and the distance to the reference point are recorded. The height profile can then be drawn from these values in your preferred CAD software.
Measure in a Picture
It has never been easier to determine an object’s width, height, surface area or even its diameter. Only one measurement at the correct angle is needed. Once taken, simply align the two arrows on your screen to the required points in your measurement picture and the result will be displayed. The Pointfinder’s 4x zoom makes measuring objects an easy task, even over long distances.
Ready for 3D Measurements
The Leica DISTO X6 can be extended with the Leica DST 360-X tripod adapter to get a solid measuring station. This allows 2D and 3D DXF data to be captured for further processing in the DISTO Plan app or any CAD software.
Intuitive Operation with Touch Screen
The DISTO X6 is equipped with a big scratch-resistant touchscreen for quick and intuitive operation. Use standard pinch gestures to zoom the Pointfinder camera in or out, swipe through function menus and tap to select functions or take a measurement.
